*We look forward to welcoming you back into the classroom for Term 1 2021
We have a new project we are excited to tell you about. Your class, Developing Skills for the Workplace (DSW), will be taking on the Lid Legend project as part of your program. The project involves collecting and sorting plastic lids to be recycled by a local company, Precious Plastics. These plastics are recycled and given a new life. Currently Precious Plastics are turning recycled plastics into face mask ear savers and carabiner’s. If you would like to find out more visit their website “plastic.org.au”.
You can start collecting today! Start by recognising which plastic lids can be collected, give them a good wash and put them aside (lids are best stored inside in a cardboard box).
This program is Learn Local endorsed.
