About Family Playgroup
*Playgroup postponed for Term 3. Register your name for Term 4
Family playgroup runs on Tuesday mornings from 9.30am to 11.30am during the school terms. Parents, grandparents and carers are welcome to attend. The group is semi-structured with a leader who encourages everyone to join in and enjoy the activities.
Cost: $90.00 for one child, $115.00 for two or more children from the same immediate family (including babies)
The playgroup room is available for hire. The playgroup room is large enough to accommodate 20 pre-school children. Use of the room includes a fenced outdoor area with swings, sand pit and other play equipment. Please contact us for further information.
Play dough Recipe
Playdough ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 table spoons cream of tartar
- 3/4 cup fine salt (Not Rock Salt)
- 1 - 1.5 cups Boiling water
- 2 Tablespoons of vegetable oil
- Food coloring, optional
- Dissolve salt in water
- add oil and food colouring to liquid
- Mix flour and cream of tartar in a mixing bowl
- gradually add wet ingredients to dry and mix continuously
- once it comes together, allow to cool and then need
