Bedford Road Level Crossing Removal Project

Stay Up to date
Bedford Road Level Crossing Removal Project

The Bedford Road level crossing removal is being removed with works anticipated to commence towards the end 2022 and due to be completed by 2025.

"Removing the Bedford Road level crossing will improve safety and reduce congestion, which will change how locals live, work and travel. This project will mean the Belgrave line will be level crossing free from Ferntree Gully to the city, allowing more trains to run, more often." Engage Victoria Level Crossing Removal Project website

The level crossing alliance have now confirmed that the Bedford Park Community Garden at the rear of the building will NOT be utalised during works. This is wonderful news.
